I’m currenly watching my favorite book to movie adaptation ever:

Sally Lockhart: The Ruby in the Smoke.

My 2nd favorite book series (after His Dark Materials). I love the trio of Billie Piper, JJ Feild and Matt Smith as Sally, Fred and Jim.

I know there was a bromance going on between these two…omg Fred’s disguise xD This one’s actually from The Shadow in the North, but I like it too and I’ll re-watch it next tuesday

Oh I love love love these books so much…

Day 28 – Favorite title

I have a thing for all the Sally Lockhart titles: The Ruby in the Smoke, The Shadow in the North, The Tiger in the Well and The Tin Princess. They say so much but you don’t know until you’ve read the entire book. Although it’s not my favorite of the 4 at all, The Tiger in the Well has the best title. The metaphor is great.

Borges has amazing titles as well, “El jardín de los senderos que se bifurcan” is a very good one.

Day 24 – A book that you wish more people would’ve read

His Dark Materials saga, first and foremost. My favorite books, I can’t help myself from wishing everyone read them.

The Sally Lockhart Quartet too. Everyone that likes mysteries, victorian era stories and strong female characters would enjoy them orat least the first 2 or 3

Something by Maria Elena Walsh or Alfonsina Storni. I don’t like that the rest of the world knows just Borges and Cortazar from my country, there are many other amazing writers and those 2 women were so inspiring for me.

I guess I’ll leave it there, I’m sure I’m missing something…

OH MY GOD
I HAVEN’T READ SO MANY BULLSHIT TOGETHER ABOUT SALLY IN MY LIFE.
This woman here needs to go read something more suitable for her female role model standards, something more like Twilight maybe.
God bless Samantha and her comment down there
