A press conference for the new “Saint Seiya” musical was held on Monday (May 30th, 20011), revealing the full main cast. Lead actor Kamakari Kenta, who was revealed a couple weeks ago to be playing Pegasus Seiya, is being joined by several other well-known young stage actors, including Uenobori Makoto (Hitouji Yuji in “Prince of Tennis”) as Dragon Shiryu and Tomita Maho (Milfeulle in “Galaxy Angel”) as Athena.The revealed cast members are:

- Uenobori Makoto – Dragon Shiryu
- Abe Naoki – Cygnus Hyoga
- Shinotani Hijiri – Andromeda Shun
- Hirose Yusuke – Phoenix Ikki
- Tomita Maho – Athena
- Matsuzaki Yutaka – Orion Jager
- Okawa Genki – Sagitta Maya
- Fujiwara Yuki – Southern Cross Khristos
- Hayashino Takeshi – Scutum Jan
- Saito Yasuka – Lyra Orpheus
- Yuzawa Koichiro – Eris
- Yoshida Hitomi – Eri
- Uehara Kenta – Tokumaru Tatsumi
As previously announced, the musical is based on the first animated movie for the franchise, “Saint Seiya: Evil Goddess Eris,” originally released in 1987. Kayano Isamu is in charge as director.
Performances will be held at Space Zero in Shibuya on July 28-31. Live streams of the shows will also be viewable through Nico Nico Douga.
