I love Benjamin Lacombe. He is definetly one of my favorite illustrators right now and when I saw this book, I couldn’t resist. It’s the spanish version of “Les Contes Macabres”, a recopilation of some of Edgar Allan Poe’s most famous stories, translated by Julio Cortázar and illustrated by the amazing Benjamin Lacombe. It’s really beautiful, dark and rich; everything you would expect from a combination of this 3 gentlemen. It’s published in Argentina by Edelvives, the same publisher that has other Lacombe books and it’s always a great place to find quality jewels.
